Every moment’s a teachable moment.
On the low end of the EIQ spectrum they yell at each other to solve their problems. They place blame, and they have monologues. When they face opposition, they become distractive. They dump everything that’s ever bothered them at one time.

On the high end we talk though difficult situations. Without my mentor, I would’ve never learned this. I’ve learned to set down and discuss the consequences, like men. Then talk about all the options, and solutions. While keeping as much as possible intact. Everything we don’t like isn’t a problem in the big picture.
Don’t mistake low EIQ for power. It’s quite the opposite. High emotional IQ, separates the men from the boys. EIQ separates good leaders from bad ones.
